Dovo Solingen German Tortoise Shell Half Hollow Ground Carbon Steel Blade Cut Throat Straight Razor 1516-580

The Dovo 1516-580 Straight Razor, has been produced by hand, going through 80 labour intensive steps to produce the finished razor. The 5/8" full hollow ground blade is set in a faux tortoise shell handle, both the blade and handle are inlaid with 24k gold etchings.;

All Dovo blades come out of the box ready to use, they are honed and stropped in Germany before being packaged in their beautiful and sturdy packaging.;

Depending on the softness of your beard, we would recommend a very slight strop of your blade after about 5 consecutive shaves or when the blade starts to tug during your shave.;
